Au Vieux Panier Hotel located in Marseille, France has pretty cool hotels rooms that changes annually. There are six hotel rooms that are painted white then six different artists come and paint their hearts out on the white canvas walls.
This year there is a cool piece that is painted by an artist named Tilt. Tilt took about a week to finish this room which is called the "Panic Room" and it`s pretty trippy. It`s a clean white room on half and the other half the room is filled with street art graffiti. The room would make a great background for photos..
Anyway, If you want to stay in this room painted by Tilt, it will cost you $135 Euros which is equivalent to about $178.23.
The room is so white, I bet I would make a huge mess. I wonder how the bed sheets are washed when new people stay since you can`t replicate graffiti sheets?
There is a blogger who was able to visit this hotel and she also included photos of the other five rooms, check it out here: http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/story-behind-half-graffiti-hotel-room But I think the room designed by Tilt is the coolest.
What do you think of this hotel room? Is this a hotel you would like to stay at? I think the hotel has come up with a cool idea, having six new artist come by and paint the rooms.. this would be a great hotel for those who are interested in art to visit/stay at.
