Lately, I`ve been noticing my hair sheds A LOT! I know it`s healthy for hair to shed 50-100 strands a day, but my hair sheds whenever I`m shampooing, brushing my hair, or from tossing and turning on my pillow when I sleep. My hair used to be thick, full of volume and body. Ever since I started college, I`ve noticed through the years that my hair has gotten thinner and less voluminous. I assume the factors of stress, not eating healthy (cafeteria food, junk food, impulsive midnight snacks) through the years, and lack of sleep due to final examinations attribute to this. I am guilty for not taking great care of my hair and health as I hardly work out. Also, I have always brushed my hair once I get out the showers when it`s wet and I learned the hard way that this is not healthy or good for my roots. Now that I`ve graduated, I really want to get back into the healthy routine I once had and want to shed less hair. So, I want to know what are your methods of growing out your hair? What shampoo and conditioners do you recommend? Do you have this same experience?
