Hi everyone! I was just browsing the net when I came across this rainbow Alexander McQueen-inspired gown that (PCM) TWELV Magazine created for their debut issue. But this isn`t just any gown - this is a 220 pound dress made out of a whopping 50,000 gummy bears. It probably weighs more than the model herself! I have to give props to the designers of this dress, TWELVs Editor-In-Chief Hissa Igarashi and Fashion Editor Sayuri Marakumi. Creating this masterpiece must have involved a lot of patience and will-power! Firstly, steel wire is twisted to create the shape of the dress. The mold is then covered with a sheet of vinl. Finally, each gummy bear is glued on in a chevron rainbow pattern. It took them three weeks to complete this work of art, which is pretty good considering that they had to glue one gummy bear at a time! As amazing as this dress looks on the model, you won`t see me rocking this 220 pound dress anytime soon! I`d probably be tempted to eat it all before the end of the night. So what do you guys think of this dress? Would you wear it? Do you think that this dress is impressive?
