This is a popular Vietnamese food dish you`ll find at practically any Asian restaurant and it`s called "Com Tam" and then depends on what you order.. Mine is Com Tam with Grilled Pork & Fried Shrimp Tofu [I don`t know how to spell it in Vietnamese though] over white broken rice. You`re also served a bowl of soup and fish sauce. The table also has additional condiments like soy sauce, sriracha and jalapenos. My parents & I always visit this restaurant because the Fried Shrimp Tofu is so good and I have never seen anywhere else sell it especially where I live. My parents tried to recreate the fried shrimp tofu and haven`t accomplished it yet, lol. The food is just perfect, not too oily, salty or expensive either, it was $6.50 a plate. For my parents & I plus tea/soda our grand total was only $25 including tip!
What is your favorite com tam dish if you ever tried? Sadly today my parents were boring and also ordered the same, so we ended up with 3 of the same dishes, lol!
