I always enjoy pulling out new twists on old recipes. The classic grilled cheese sandwich can actually be made with some different variations including adding jalapeno, guacamole, and cream cheese. I`ve made a grilled cheese using just regular Philadelphia cream cheese and it was really tasty. For lunch today, I used a combination of both cheddar slices and cream cheese.
I`m quite sure we all know how to make a grilled cheese sandwich. Butter two slices on white bread. Heat up a pan and grill bread buttered side down. Place the cheese on the bread and once the bread is grilled, place the other piece of bread on top - one side buttered, other with cream cheese. Flip so that the buttered side is once again down and wait till the cheese melts.
The cream cheese adds an extra flavor to the sandwich and taste great with a glass of milk!
