I absolutely love dolmades - they are my favorite grape leave ever. I typically have to wait to get them at Greek festivals since no one in my family makes them. That is until two weeks ago I was at one of the larger markets in my area and noticed they were selling packaged dolmades advertised as "Greek grape leaves" for $2 for a container. Since then, I have ultimately been obsessed. I`ve bought a container each week and have either eaten them for a snack or incorporated them into a meal - as a side to a sandwich, etc.
If you`re not familiar with what dolmades are -- they are a rice mixture, which is wrapped in a grape leave, which is in a lemon sauce. The lemon sauce is what truly makes them.
Have you ever tried dolmades or grape leaves in general?
