I am well aware that many of you know about Revlons Whimsical and Facets of Fuchsia that also goes by the name Scandalous. It is quite hard for some of us Canadians to find these polishes since they arent sold everywhere yet. Canada usually gets things a few months after the US. However, when my friend went down to the States last week, she surprised me by picking up these polishes for me. You could say she was a bit annoyed by me ranting on about how badly I wanted these 2 specific polishes. But now that I finally have them, my rant is now over lol. She was also generous enough to pick up one of the polishes from the Wet n Wild Spoiled line.
-Revlon Scandalous 761: This is also known as Revlon Facets of Fuchsia. I have no idea why they changed the name, yet its the same polish; at least thats what I think. And I am well aware that most of you know that this is a dupe for Deborah Lippmanns Bad Romance. But what I noticed was that in Scandalous, there is also silver glitter, not just purple. So maybe its not the same things as Revlon Facets of Fuchsia The base of this polish is a sheer black jelly and has large purple and a few large silver glitters. It also contains smaller chunks of purple glitter.
-Revlon Whimsical 430: This is another dupe for one of Deborah Lippmanns polishes called Glitter In The Air. The base is a sheer milky blue; pastel like. It contains various sizes of blue and pink glitter. This definitely would be a layering polish; base colour is a must have.
-Wet n Wild Spoiled Are Mermaids Real?: The Spoiled nail polish line is not available in Canada since we dont have CVS here. And these are exclusively sold at CVS. I never mentioned this line to her before, but she was thoughtful enough to pick this up. The base of this polish is a light to medium purple that is filled with gold flecks.
I am very thankful that my friend got these for me even though I never asked her to. It just shows what a great friend she is. I definitely cant wait to give these polishes a try and see what combinations I can come up with for Revlon Whimsical. I decided to take pictures under 3 different lightings; one under natural lighting and 2 under different types of artificial lighting.
Do you own any of these?
