So on my way back from school, I dropped by the mall to hunt around what goodies there were, and trust me I got some haha! A majority of the things I bought are shoes and jewelry, so this was the odd one out of the bunch!
So as many Canadians may know, Shoppers Drug Mart carries the brand GOSH, and I`ve had a couple of instances to try out their products, their nailpolish and some eyeshadows! Now sometimes, Shopper Drugs Mart has a clearance section at the back of the store where you can honestly find some great finds at a discount price!
So today, while there, I snatched the last one of these babies and I`m super happy I did! So I picked up the Smokey Eye Palette in 02 Brown, from my knowledge, I remember seeing that there were 3 variations for this palette, a black, a brown and a plum (which is just purple colors). Now me being a neutral girl meant that the palette I picked up is right up my alley!
So this palette comes with 4 colors (top to down in the palette): a light peach satin, a champagne brown satin, a taupe brown satin and a chocolate brown satin.
All the colors in this palette aren`t super shimmery which I like, they are more of a subtle satin finish, which means that I could use all these shadows on my eyes and I wouldn`t look like I went glitter-tastic on my eyes haha! I have provided swatches and the shade that is a champagne brown kind of fades into my skin color really well lol! Of the 4 colors, I definitely have to say that the champagne brown and taupe brown are the most soft and pigmented colors, the light peach is okay, but the chocolate brown is the least pigmented for me! I love the instructions that came with the palette, it`s super easy and it kind of reminds me of the Wet n` Wild instructions but that won`t limit me on how I would use these shadows! A note though, the packaging is a little cheap feeling for me, its really light so that`s just something I thought I would bring up for those who are interested!
Originally this palette would run for $18.00 CDN, but it was on sale for $10 CDN, as you can see with the big orange sticker ahah!
What do you think? Have you tried GOSH products before?
