The great thing about Google Offers and Groupons and such is the deals you get and the amazing restaurants you get to try. The downside is keeping track of them all!
So I have three certificates to the Cuban restaurant Havana Central that expires in 2 weeks. So tonight was certificate 1 of 3! LOL
So here`s what we ordered.
Cuban Appetizer Sampler Selección de Aperitivos Clásicos
A selection of some of our most popular appetizers and sides:
Chorizo, Tostones, Maduros, choice of one Empanada, Havana Zesty Corn and Chicharrones de Pollo
The corn, chorizo (sausages) and fried chicken was freaking amazing!!!
Chicken and Rice Arroz con Pollo
A classic Cuban dish of boneless, skinless chicken in savory saffron rice.
This was my wife`s dish. She only ate a little and we saved most of it to go. To be honest it reminds me of Fried Rice. However the Saffron makes it very tasty!
Oxtail Stew Rabo Encendido
Delightful, delicious oxtail stew braised in red wine, chorizo, Cuban herbs and spices.
This was really good. I wish they gave more pieces. I can never have enough!
Total with 18% grauitity which they automatically tacked on (hate that) was $14.05 after the $50 Google Offer which I paid $25 for. So my total out of pocket expense was $39.05.
This restaurant is always extremely packed so make reservations if you decide to go!
Talk the TALK
1) Do you like Cuban Food?
2) Do you use sites like Groupon a lot for trying new restaurants?
