Goody Spin Pins
I recently posted about a small haul I did with some new products I wanted to try. You can see that haul here: http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/walmart-mini-haul-%E2%80%93-trying-new-products.
Since these are all new items I havent tried before, I decided to review each of them for you all :)
First up is the Goody Spin Pins.
These are used to create quick messy hair buns and are great for a last minute hair do. My hair gets really frizzy since its so thick and curly, so if I dont have the time or ability (hah!) to revive it on a particular day, I usually opt for a quick bun.
I was really worried that 2 pins wouldnt be enough to hold my hair in place, but I was pleasantly surprised! I tied my hair in a simple ponytail, wrapped the hair around the base and spun the pins into my hair on opposite ends. I even shook my head and jumped up and down to test it! LOL My sister walked into my room and was wondering why I was headbanging haha!
I will say, since I have layered hair, I need an extra bobby pin or two to pin a few of the shorter pieces that stuck out, but that isnt a big deal for me.
Overall, they helped me create a nice bun that was appropriate for work and took minimal effort and time. The pins also hide into the hair really well which is always a plus!
I totally recommend these!
Im really excited to experiment with these and create some unique updos.
