First time thrifting: good haul :D Definitely the retail therapy I needed without breaking the bank.
This past Wednesday, I desperately needed some retail therapy but still needed to save up on money, so I went to thrifting at Goodwill with my best friends. This was my first time thrifting so I didn`t know what to expect. Most of the clothes there are pretty normal, but if you look hard enough you can find some really nice pieces. I did come across a Tadashi Shoji jacket and another designer item...but they weren`t my style.
I am super happy with what I picked up: a New York & Company gold thread sweater ($6.59!) and a creme orange suit set ($12.49! score). The sweater fit perfectly but the suit is kind of big on me. I`m fine with the blazer being a bit oversized but the skort that came with it was huge but I can totally tailor it when I do want to wear it. My best friend picked up a $13 or $14 pair of sparkly gold heels, something that she`s been wanting for forever, as well as a pair of sunglasses.
Can`t wait to wear these...that is...after I tell my mom that I bought them.
