This is glutinous rice balls with black sesame filling. We`ve had this many times before and others like it, but I prefer the one with peanut filling. Never really liked black sesame, the flavour is too much for me. I don`t know how to describe it. I can`t eat more than two pieces but the peanut one I can have more than two without a problem. However these are really easy to prepare. First boil water then add brown sugar and a piece of ginger. The ginger is optional but it gives the dessert a better flavour. Lastly add the glutinous rice balls and cook until they float to the top.
