The Geanne, company in the country of the rising sun, presented the new MPJ-50. It`s a tiny video projector, DLP-type, which as you can see by the images fits in the palm of your hand.
Winner of the Good Design Award 2012, Geanne MPJ-50 can be connected to an iPod / iPad or iPhone (except the 5 unless we use an adapter) to project images and videos stored on our smartphone / tablet is that videos of 640 x 480 pixels can be viewed in Full HD 1080p
The light source of the projector is of the type RGB LED and has a maximum brightness of 50 lumens with a contrast of 800:1. In terms of projection distance, the Geanne MPJ-50 can be used between 30cm to 3 meters of a wall. According to the company, to have a projection of 30 inches (about 80 centimeters diagonal) just take the MPJ-50 at 1 meter distance.
Furthermore this projector also includes a small speaker mono having a power of 0.5 W. Nothing but deafening can give some very handy during presentations.
In terms of the power MPJ-Geanne 50 includes a rechargeable 800mAh it takes two hours to load and allows a continuous projection 90 minutes. All this in a body that measures only 60 x 77 x 11.1 mm for a weight of 65 grams. The price of this little "toy" is 19,800 yen which gives approximately 185.
For now there is no indication if this projector will go on sale in Europe.
