I was planning to do a video reviewing this but I figured a blog post works, and I didnt really do a before/after or film while I was dying my hair, I might still do a video review but for now here are my thoughts, so I dyed my hair about a week and a half ago, Ive been maintaining it with the john frieda red shampoo, however the shampoo does keep my hair soft and the color hasnt faded too too much, I dont love the shampoo I love clear a whole lot more even if it does make my color fade faster, anyways I was expecting a bright red color since I did leave it in my hair for almost an hour - I had faded reddish brown hair previous to dying it but it came out dark - almost my natural hair color but in the sun you can really see a deep burgundy shade which I was expecting that since this color is labeled as intense color I would get something similar to the girl on the box just a little lighter but I got something completely different very similar to dark intense auburn by olia (also by garnier) I did think that this color did a pretty good job for being so cheap ($5.96) - at loblaws on sale. It did not bleed everywhere when I washed it out the water pretty much ran clean and didnt stain my tub which never happens with any other dye and didnt bleed color out when I washed it several times after dying which also surprised me. if you are looking for a darker red color then this is for you, if you are looking for rihanna red or something similar to the box you arent gonna get that from this dye, worth the $5.96 though
