Garnier Fructis Miracle Dry Oil
I recently posted about a small haul I did with some new products I wanted to try. You can see that haul here: http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/walmart-mini-haul-%E2%80%93-trying-new-products.
Since these are all new items I havent tried before, I decided to review each of them for you all :)
I already posted my review of the Goody Spin Pins that you can see here: http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/goody-spin-pins-review
Right now, Ill be reviewing the Garnier Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil. This is a spray product that can be used for hair, and skin!
Before I bought this, I read some reviews online and they really went both ways some people loved it, and some absolutely hated it. But it seemed there was a trend those who liked it had very thick hair and/or dry skin while those who didnt like it had finer hair and normal or oily skin.
The first time I used this product, I used it on dry hair, and sprayed it directly onto my head big mistake. It was hard to distribute the product and I ended up with a really oily section in my head while the rest was still fairly dry. The hair didnt really feel oily to the touch, but looked weighed down and kinda greasy. I will say this my hair is so thick Ive never really known what oily hair felt like! I could go a week without washing my hair, and it would still be dry as a bone. If you are using this product on dry hair, I STRONGLY suggest spraying 1-2 pumps into your hands, and then lightly distributing through your hair, avoiding the roots. I have long, thick hair, and 2 pumps is more than enough for me!
My preferred way of using this is when my hair is still wet from the shower. I spray a few pumps all over my head, brush it through, and follow up with my favourite curl cream before letting it air dry.
My sister, who has wavy, medium thickness hair tried this and hated it! Her hair gets oily really quickly and this was a total disaster for her!
So while I will probably be buying this again (especially since it looks like I can print another coupon online), I wouldnt recommend it for anyone with straight, fine, or oily hair.
