With Summer rolling to an end there is always an abundance of fresh produce, which is heavenly. This is by far the best time of year for gardeners and produce lovers. Because of this over abundance of fresh produce I got to thinking of different ways I could use my produce.
Greek Yogurt is a big hit at my house and I thought I might try to trick my family into thinking this tasty, healthy snack to be a treat. I covered blueberries, raspberries and strawberries with vanilla Greek yogurt and let freeze. In the matter of a few hours you have a tasty snack that is both healthy and tastes like a sweet.
What was even better was how simple it was to make. All I did was take a cup of Greek Yogurt, my favorite is Chobani, empty it into a bowl and used a spoon to apply it to my fruit. I then popped it into a Tupperware container and boom! Healthy snacks during the dog days of Summer.
