Fried Glutinous Rice Balls (Banh Cam)

Speaking of /viz/mung-bean-sticky-rice-xoi-vo one of my favorite Vietnamese pastries that contains mung beans are these fried glutinous rice balls known as
Banh Cam.
What does a fried glutinous rice ball taste like? It tastes extremely good cause obviously it`s fried but the outer layer is crispy from the rice flour and sesame while the inside is soft and moist with mung beans. Overall: I highly recommend this pastry! It`s so good and you can find this at your local Asian market for less than $1, I think it`s about 80 cents at mine.
