Fried Asparagus

I bought some asparagus the other day from the grocery store and wanted to try and make fried asparagus for the first time. Although it doesn`t look too fried in the picture, it was actually just right. I think the only this I may have messed up on was by making the batter too runny which made it hard to stick to the asparagus but other than that they were delicious. It went very well with my steak and mashed potatoes.

Here is what you need:

Here is what you have to do:
-pour oil into a pan
-in a mixing bowl, pour in flour, salt, pepper, cornstarch, and paprika.
-pour in a little bit of water but not too much.
-mix well, mixture should be thick and not runny. Add more flour if it`s too runny.
-wash asparagus and pat dry with paper towel.
-turn on stove and let oil boil
-dip each asparagus into mixture then place in the hot oil
-let it sit in the oil until it`s golden
-using tongs, take out the asparagus and let cool on a paper towel before serving.
