French Toast for Lunch

Today for lunch I made french toast with syrup. I started off by beating two eggs in a bowl and removing the crust off the bread. Then I took two slices of bread and soaked the sides in the beaten egg and placed them on a heated pan like a sandwich. I cooked the sides around the bread first to ensure the two slice stick together then I cooked each side. In the photo I`ve already added syrup so they look shiny.
