One of the places I went to while in Las Vegas was Fremont Street. Fremont Street is basically the old strip way back in the day. The area is where the Golden Nuggest is located at. And the area is completely different from the strip! Its a different atmosphere but still has a lot of that vegas energy. I must say though the car ride down to Fremont street is kinda sketchy. Its like super dark in some areas and it was pretty scary driving down there especially since I went at like 11pm to make it on time for the midnight Fremont street experience show. Fremont street is a outdoor pedestrian mall with casinos, stores, restaurants, bars, and a lot more all underneath a canopy covered in light bulbs and every day all day from dusk until midnight every hour they have a light show. The canopy displays different images while there is loud music playing to go along with it. Its a fun show to watch and its nice to see all the different colors.
By the way you can also zip line across the area!! Ive never done it and Ill probably never do it but it looks like a fun experience.
