I happened to come across an awesome website (I forgot the name of it) while searching for coupons and freebies. A blog post informed that you could get kids` clothes for free. I`m not a kid, but I do fit into the larger sizes so I continued reading. The site is called ThredUp, which is an online store that sells gently used quality kids` clothes for cheap. I followed the instructions on the website, which was to: 1) make an account on http://ThredUp.com (not through Facebook Connect)for $10 store credit towards your next purchase. http://www.thredup.com/475409 2) Pick a clothing item that is less than $4 (you can filter the items from lowest price to highest) 3) Enter the promo code AUG20 at checkout I chose a floral tank top for $3.49 in the size XL 14, since the 16 size clothes were all greater than $4. The order ended up being
FREE! It even covered shipping costs. It took about a week and a half to arrive, which kinda drove me crazy because I`m so impatient. LOL, but of course it arrived right when I wasn`t expecting it. It came in a brown package, and the tank top itself was still very new. It even had the price tag still attached to it, which I didn`t expect. When I put it on, it was slightly snug but at least it fit because I`m usually a size 16. I think it would look better paired with shorts rather than long pants. Overall, ThredUP is definitely worth checking out. The promo code has already expired, but you might still be able to receive $10 store credit which is still a good discount. I waited until i received my order to write this blog post so I can confirm that it`s legitimate. I like how it is similar to a thrift store, in that it is environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and even carries brand names like Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.
Hope this was helpful! Do you enjoy buying used clothing? *Pictures are mine.
