I recently was offered to join a campaign to try out Secret`s Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant. So before I being with my first impressions about the product, I just wanted to state a disclaimer that I received this deodorant for review from BzzAgent. And the opinions I express are my honest thoughts.
Just before we get into my thoughts, I would like to begin with a bit of background about this product. What makes this deodorant different from others is that it: `is specifically designed with fast drying ingredients` such that it will evaporate in seconds, it is a water-based formula where it `allows active ingredients to permeate sweat glands faster and more efficiently,` there will be no white marks left behind, it has been `clinically tested to help stop odour before it starts and continually working to detect odour and wetness,` and the `pH of Secret Outlast` is meant to help reduce the bacteria that causes odour and will give you `48-hour odour protection.`
-Before receiving this product, I have not used gel deodorants before and mainly stick to solid deodorants.
-Scent: The scent I received is called `Ooh-La-La-Lavender.` When I first pulled off the cap to smell it, my first reaction was that it didn`t smell like lavender at all. It was pretty far from a floral scent. For some reason, it smells a little cologne-like with a hint of a fruity scent. Personally, I find the scent to be a little too strong for my liking since I generally like to use unscented deodorants, and a few scented ones from Dove. If the scent was a bit litter and not as cologne-like, I think I would like the scent a lot better.
-Size: The total weight of the deodorant is 48g, which is 3g more than my unscented deodorant from Secret.
-Colour: The gel is completely clear, which is what I like since adding a dye would probably stain my armpits.
-Style: Just like other deodorants, this one is a twist-up. Meaning that you would have to twist the bottom up in order to access the product. Unlike other deodorants, there are tiny holes at the top for the gel to come up; instead of having a completely opened surface like solid deodorants.
Overall, I am excited to try this out since I love the idea of having no white residue and how it keeps you protected from odour and wetness for 48 hours. Hopefully this product will do as it says!
Have you tried Secret Outlast Before? What`s your favourite deodorant?
