I love CVS! I`ve been stocking up on free greeting cards everytime they have this offer.
The offer in the weekly ad was for Buy 3 Hallmark cards, get $3 Extra Bucks back. However when I scanned my CVS card at the red coupon machine, I received a bunch of deals and one of them being Buy 4 cards, get $3 off your purchase.
4 Hallmark cards @ $0.99 each = $3.96
Used coupon for $3 off
Paid $0.96 and received $3 Extra Bucks to use on next purchase.
$2 Moneymaker (or $1.30 if you include tax)
The yellow ad tag that they post in the store states each card must be $1.49 but the machine still prints out your $3 Extra Bucks if you buy the $0.99 cards. Stores made have different cards available; I noticed a further CVS had more options while I seem to have almost every card at the CVS closest to my house.
I know these $0.99 Hallmark cards are not as "nice" as the more expensive ones that cost aroud $3-$5 but nothing beats free right?
If there`s a CVS nearby, you should definitely sign up for the Extra Care care and take advantage of the weekly deals. I basically shop for almost free or pay a small amount for my purchases (mostly cosmetics, hair care, body/skin care, razors and vitamins) by combining coupons and the weekly deals.
Do you guys shop at CVS? Did any of you guys get the same deal?
