This is another Fourth of July manicure I wanted to share with you. When I was finished with this one it reminded me of semi-abstract fireworks. The curved stripes kind of looked like on side of an exploding firework and the red and blue sponging either like the smoke that fills the sky after a lot of fireworks go off or, perhaps, more fireworks themselves. I don`t know, maybe that is just me! x-D
WHAT I`M WEARING: -1 coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails -2 coats of Julep Kate -sponged the red with a makeup sponge applicator and Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby -sponged the blue with a makeup sponge applicator and Sinful Colors Midnight Blue -Stamped the curved stripes with Bundle Monster plate BM301 and Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby -Dabbed on some of Julep America over the red areas to give it a bit of sparkle and shine -1 coat of Seche Vite While I had wished that Julep America had stars in it, as they had advertised, it worked well in this manicure for it to NOT have any stars. Perhaps the stars would have been lovely if precisely placed. All in all, I`m enjoying the way this patriotic manicure turned out. I feel like it is perfect for the 4th of July. With Wednesday nearly here, have a happy and SAFE 4th of July! If you are going to watch fireworks have a blast (no pun intended). If you are setting some off yourself... BE CAREFUL and don`t do anything crazy (like hold onto Roman candles or anything ridiculous.. my dad used to do that when I was a kid and I can remember my mom warning him as they have been known to explode in people`s hands.) Just all around, be safe!
