Mark Lenzi, a 1192 gold medalist in springboard diving died on Monday at the age of 43. Mark had suffered some fainting spells and had been hospitalized prior to his passing. He had won a gold medal at the Barcelona Olympic Summer games and then won a bronze in the Olympic games in Atlanta. No American man has won a diving medal since, which is sad. It has been dominated by Chinese men ever since. Go China! It is sad to see something pass at 43, since I still consider that young as my grandfather is 94 this year. I wonder what may have caused his death. I am not a big fan of diving when it comes to the Olympics so I was not aware of who he was until I saw this story.
What do you enjoy watching in the summer olympics?
Do you remember who Mark Lenzi was?
