Once again, I`m in Little Saigon. It was a cold day today, but my boyfriend and I were not in the mood for pho. So we opted for some rice plates,
Vietnamese fried rice to be exact. This may come off as a normal type of fried rice, but I think it tastes a little bit different. From what I can determine with my taste buds, this one has Chinese sausage and Spanish chorizo mixed together, eggs, and green onion. The rice was also cooked with asian soy sauce (yes, I`m pretty sure there`s a difference in taste between the american and asian versions) so salt and even chili paste or pepper is not needed to add flavor. It`s pretty good on it`s own. If you haven`t tried this version of the asian fried rice, don`t forget to check it out!
