For filipinos living in the Philippines, taho is a staple breakfast street food. It is a warm drink made of soy, boba balls, and melted brown sugar. Oh man, it is just delicious!
When I was a child, I had this everyday before I went to school. It really helped calm me down and take a breather during the early morning rush. Coupling this with a fresh warm pandesal is bliss. Now living this in the United States, I crave this every morning. It`s heart breaking! But I`m glad that Chowking is somewhat close to where I live and they sell taho. So once in a while, I can have a taste of my childhood =)
What about you? What reminds you of your childhood?
