Highly anticipated but a flop in the end for me.
It seems like the Urban Decay Naked craze has finially begun to wear off a bit. In my opinion Naked 1 was really the best, which Naked 2 coming in ata close second. The Naked Basics palette was extremely disappointing for me.
The biggest issue is that there are WAY too many light shades. Unless you are extremely fair, none of the first 3 shades can be used for anything other than a brow highlight...and why would you need 3 of those? I would say even the color Naked2 in the middle of the palette is too light for many skin tones. This leaves only one color (outside of a matte black that could really only be used as eyeliner unless you want raccoon eyes) that is wearable as an all over the lid shade. Not cool for $27.
I would definitely skip this if you have anything other than super fair skin or just have the cash to spare. Try the original naked palettes or the Kat Von D palette in Saint instead.
