I`ve been using the Lancome`s flat top brush for a long time now for occasional foundation application (usually with cream foundations). I find flat top brushes work best for cream foundations becuase it buffs in better, in my opinion.
I was recently at Target and I`ve been meaning to try the ELF`s flat top and it was finally in stock so I picked it up. It ws only $3 and it has a professional and sturdy grip.
As far as the brush quality goes, obviously Lancome is far better, it`s much softer and much gentle on your face. However, the outcome is very similar. I don`t think it`s the perfect dupe but for $3 it`s worth the buy. Also, I have washed this 2-3 times, and I haven`t seen any shedding so that`s a good sign.
What do you guys think of ELF`s Studio line brushes?
