Well today I was just playing around with my makeup and decided to try a look that is a bit different for me. I decided to try to do the winged out liner. I have never tried it before because I always found it to be to difficult to do. Well I decided to do a normal eye makeup and then add the winged eyeliner. What I used was Urban Decay primer potion on the lid to reduce any creases. Then I went ahead and applied Woodwink by MAC all over the lid and made sure not to go pass the crease. Then I got my elf 144 palette and put a dark brown color in to the outer corner and smudged it into my crease. Then I used a skin tone shade to blend everything out completely so there were no visible harsh lines. Then I went ahead and added Heaven from the too faced natural palette to the brow bone and also placed some of it on the inner tear duct. Then I lined my top water line with Revlon black liner.
Now here comes the fun part I recently purchased the NYX skinny pen eyeliner marker. I felt that this would be easier to use to accomplish the winged liner as I would have more control of the pencil and since the felt tip is very thin it would be easier for me to be precise. I think I did a good job for my first time the part I had a lot of trouble was the end at trying to create the wing. I couldn`t figure out how or where to begin winging it out. I tried doing it on the other eye but they looked completely different. I will keep practicing as I think a winged liner looks very nice on all eyes. I am pretty sure if I keep practicing I will be able to create a nice smooth winged look with any type of liner.
Hope you guys and enjoy and let me know how you learned to do a winged liner? And what do you guys thing of wing liners do you like them or hate them.
