Tiffany has such wonderful things that would make any girl happy. And it is every girl`s dream to get something from there. I was lucky enough to have be gifted my very first Tiffany & Co item from my wonderful boyfriend! Since I am not a major jewellery wearer (except for special events), I wanted something simple and classic that I could wear everyday. And he did a fantastic job at picking out something I liked.
-Compared bracelets and necklaces, rings are what I would wear the most, and I am glad that I was gifted a ring out of the three.
-Style: The ring I received was the `Tiffany 1837 Narrow Sterling Silver Ring.` According the their website, this is `a timeless Tiffany favourite,` which I can see to be true. The ring has `T & Co` engraved in the centre of the ring and on the left side, 925 (meaning sterling silver) is engraved, and on the right side, 1837 is engraved. On the inside of the ring, it says `(c) Tiffany&Co. AG925.` The edges of the ring are raised such that the engravings will not be rubbed off so easily.
-Metal: The metal of this ring is sterling silver. I personally like silver compared to yellow gold, since I am cool toned.
-Band thickness: I am not entirely sure how many mm this band is but this one is the narrow version of their `Tiffany 1837 Sterling Silver Ring.` Personally I like thin banded rings, since my fingers are short. I am glad that he got the narrow version. I find that Tiffany does not carry many narrow rings that are that are plain and simple.
-Price: If you are interested in getting yourself one or someone else one, their website lists this one to be $150.
-Sizing: Tiffany carries a range of ring sizes starting at 4 all the way to 13, and their sizes increase by 1/2. I like my rings to fit a bit loser so I had to go and exchange 1/2 up. If you are wondering what size I am so you have an idea of what it might look like for yourself, I got a size 5 but my finger is 4.5.
Overall, I am really happy with my first Tiffany item. I love how my boyfriend considered what I like for ring (silver, simple, narrow and classic) to make sure that I would like and wear it. I am planning to wear this on my right hand.
