There`s a new ramen place in Toronto called Kinton Ramen. It`s opened by the same people who own Guu Izakaya.
Boyfriend decided to bring me there for lunch because my medical exam was terribly uncomfortable.
I was surprised it was PACKED on a weekday. I`m glad we got a seat. While waiting for the ramen to come, I was actually working on my laptop while tethering with my iPhone to get wireless.
I ordered a Shio Ramen with a light soup base and pork shoulder. Shio refers to having the soup base made with sea salt.
In the middle of my meal, a bee actually flew onto my table. And since I`m highly allergic to bee stings (it would kill me) I freaked out a bit. My epi-pen has expired and I`m still waiting for the new one to come in. I`m glad that the man sitting beside me quickly swatted it with a paper towel. That was really nice and saved my life =)
However, the ramen was very good! I was super hungry so I was able to finish the entire bowl, which is rare. I`m still full now!
