I am way too cheap to be able to afford to get gel nails done myself, however when given the opportunity to get them done for FREE of course I had to take that deal up right? Free is music to anyone`s ears. I only got 2 layers of Gel on myself which showed a little of the nail whites, however a third coat would have definitely covered the entire nails without leaving the leftover whites. I asked to get an accent ring with the gels as well so my nails would not be completely boring. I honestly got bored of the gel nails after a week so I peeled it off which really damages your nails so I suggest you NOT to peel it off :(! The brand that I used for my gel nails is IBD Ingenue (the hot pink) on all of my nail beds and Cashmere Blush (nude) and Gelish`s Patent Pending (for the glitters) as my accent nail. I love that with Gel Nails you don`t have to wait for the nails to dry since it dries by the lights which is a really great plus if you are an impateint person. The texture of the gels feels like rubber/plastic on the nails. If you ever had ghost guard covered on your Iphone you would defintiely understand what I mean :P! Overall, it was a great experience. I, however, perfer to change my nails often so this is not for me. If you are the type of person to like your nails staying polish for a long period of time you should definitely try gel nails!
