I really wanted t do a new nail design tonight and needed to remove my old nail polish which was very glittery. I started removing it with polish remover and finally remembered to use foil! Since we didn`t have any foil in the house, I stole some from the fridge which was wrapping corn for our BBQ night tomorrow. Poor corn!! :P
I found some easy instructions online on how to do the foil method. All you have to do is just take a pad, dip it in nail polish, put it over your nail and put foil around it. I don`t know how in the world it works but in few minutes I felt my fingers tips get really hot. Is that normal??
At the end, I think that this method worked. When I pulled the foil off, it was a silver dust on my nails and I just had to wipe it with some more nail polish remover and it was fine. You can see in the picture that the sides were not fully done but practice makes everything perfect! :)
Have you tried the foil method? Do you wear a lot of glitter polishes?
