I`m not sure how I really feel about my first attempt since it turned out a lot messier then I expected it to be. You must apply a base color first then wait for the color to completely dry before you apply the reinforcement stickers. I applied two coats of OPI`s Designer.. De Better. Having one or two coats truly depends on how pigmented the nail polish shade is or how pigmented you want your `moons` to be. To make your life a lot easier cut the stickers in half so you won`t waste the stickers as much and you can have more control on how your `moons` are going to look. It took me a couple of times before I figured out where to place the nail stickers so practice really makes perfect! After I applied the stickers on and waited for the first coat to dry I applied two coats of Zoya`s Lo. After Lo dried I applied my top coat and there goes my messy first attempt at half moon nails. I really am fond of the look but I`m not sure if I personally like the color chooses I choose for my first attempt. I am thinking of trying out the half moon for my next manicure!
