Happy Wednesday, everyone! =)
I purchased the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream April last year (April 2011) and have been using it almost every day. I just finished up the last bit this morning!
I purchased this when I was still learning about cruelty-free companies. I didn`t have the necessary knowledge to determine whether a company is truly cruelty-free or not. So even though Bobbi Brown`s finished products aren`t tested on animals, the ingredients may be or they may do third party testing. They are NOT Leaping Bunny certified. So! Bobbi Brown is not a cruelty-free brand.
On to my short review, this eye cream didn`t live up to the hype for me. A lot of people raved about this. The girl who sold it to me even swore by it. It`s not that it didn`t work. It does moisturize the skin around your eyes. It`s just not as good as everyone claims it is. It doesn`t absorb quickly enough either. It sure takes its sweet time. And the product detail on Sephora says that it allows your undereye concealer to glide on easily. MMm.... NO.
For a whopping $46.00, it`s just not worth it. Even if the brand does go cruelty-free, I`m not sure if I`ll repurchase this.
Picture is mine!
