Hello all, I find it interesting that there is always someone who devotes his time to rethink the design or operation of things that are absolutely accustomed to using every day throughout our lives. Thanva Tivawong is one of those people who feel utter frustration by the current design of the lights and went on to redesign them. The result is quite interesting and highly informative while maintaining the absolute simplicity. How it works, you ask? Using the usual three colors, red, yellow and green to indicate stopping, attention and freeway. The difference is that by form of an hourglass is possible to visually identify the time remaining for the current state of the semaphore, and do a countdown of the last three seconds. Will we ever see this kind of traffic lights on the roads? Let your opinion.
