Previously I owned Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear`s White On, which is great for the price. However, the polish got really thick and sticky after a few months, and became really hard to apply. I figured since I always use white for nail art, it`d be useful just to have a good quality white polish around.
2. China Glaze Material Girl
I`ve been looking for a pink glitter for a long time! Basically light pink microglitter with larger light pink hex glitter, and occasional red/dark pink hex glitter. I haven`t tried it yet, but it looks very pretty (and hard to remove).
Dupes: Milani Disco Lights, Essie A Cut Above (somewhat)
3. China Glaze Some Like It Haute
Dark silver microglitter with holo microglitter.. so pretty! I`ve been wanting Follow Me on Glitter (Kardashian Kolors for Nicole OPI) but they retail at like $10.99 here in Vancouver! So glad I found the China Glaze for $5.99 at Winners, which pretty much looks the same.
4. Essie Size Matters
Size Matters is like your perfect dark red nail polish. I love Essie because the formula/application is always great, and this one was no exception! A nice dark red is always a staple in your nail polish collection.
5. Essie Mint Candy Apple
pretty old polish .. thought I could skip out on it but sadly I couldn`t. It has definitely been talked about lots by the nail polish community, and basically what started the mint green nail polish trend. Thankfully, I don`t regret purchasing it at all! However, it does not look that minty after 3 coats. It kind of looks like a light turquoise, like a sister of China Glaze`s For Audrey. Sally Hansen`s Mint Sorbet is greener, but the application is a lot worse.
6. Essie Matte About You
Just a matte top coat, because I find that some designs look a lot nicer matte, and also changes up your nail polish for a whole different look!
7. Essie Luxeffects Shine of The Times
One of the many flakies to be launching this year. This one flashes orange, gold, and green. Looks great over all dark colours! I`ve been looking for Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure forever but of course I can`t find it anywhere.
Next month i want to try the Revlon ColorStay polishes. I`ve heard great reviews about them and they come in such nice colours! I also hope to pick up some of the new spring colours for the Kardashian Kolors Collection from Nicole by OPI.
