It`s half way through March now and you`re probably wondering why I`m doing my February favourites so late, but with assignments pending and getting sick, I haven`t had time to post it. I figured better late than never and since I`ve discovered a few new products last month I want to share them with everyone.
First off is the Hunger Games series. I completed the first book in February and I got so into it, it only took me about a day to read. I loved it and I`m so glad its different to the typical Twilight and other vampire series that are going around.
I recently tried out one of the natural face masks from Lush to try and even out my skin tone. Cupcake is so amazing, it smells like chocolate and I love that when you`re washing it off, because of the fine particles you can keep scrubbing and use it as an exfoliant. For $16 it was a bit pricey but I still think I`ll be going back for more.
Of course I`ve been obsessed with my Naked palette that I think everyone on the planet has by now, but I love it for everyday looks and I`ve been playing around with darker looks for night time as well. It`s just so versatile. My other makeup favourite has been the Smashbox O-glow cheek colour. It`s great for a natural flush of colour and when you layer it under a blush it provides so much more colour.
I was obsessed with everything bright and glittery last month and my nail polish was no exception. Most used was China Glaze`s Bahamian Escape, and I love using China Glaze White for details and french tip. I can never look past Essie`s Silver Bullions, the glitter is amazing and it makes everything look better.
Finally, hair products. I have been trying to baby my hair so heat styling is out of the question. However the few times that I used my GHD for special occasions, I used the GHD thermal protectant and it worked wonders. It left my hair feeling so smooth and it smells amazing!! I`m sure it was this coupled with my moroccan oil which everyone already knows about, that has resulted in my hair having little to no split ends. I`m so proud of it, hopefully it will finally get to a reasonable length.
What were your favourites of February?
