I bought this foundation, Revlon Colorstay Whipped (mine is in 200 Sand Beige, same color as the regular Colorstay for me), a couple of weeks ago. I wasn`t really having luch with the previous foundations I got, so I decided this could be a nice choice, since I really love the regular Colorstay.
I must say, I like this better than the Colorstay. It`s full coverage, does feel heavy (as the regular does), you do feel like you are wearing foundation, the consistency is even heavier, but it does not look cakey at all on. It might also be because it`s a bit oilier, so it gives a dewy look, and that is why it doesn`t result on looking cakey. I love this, coverage is flawless, makes it look like you have perfect skin!
My skin is combination, and althought this foundation does look dewy and is a little bit oily on, I don`t find that it makes my skin oilier. However, if your skin is combo oily, or jusr oily, I advise you to pick something else, or have powder and blotting papers with you.
Also, if you don`t like the feeling of foundation on the skin, this might not be for you either. If you prefer a natural, lighter coverage, same thing.
If you are like me: bad, uneven, combination, lots of scar skin, maybe you should give this a try.
I do have an observation to made about this, thought.. actually, 2: 1. why did Revlon release a whipped cream foundation, with heavy coverageand feel, on summer; 2. why did Revlon release a foundation without any SPF on it on summer?
Regardless, I love it!
