As you`ve probably realised from the title, I will be doing a series of posts that will guide you to Spring 2012..in a fashionable way of course. I hope you`ll find the tips useful and if you have any questions go ahead and ask.. here`s my first set created on Polyvore showing one of the main trends this Spring.
Tangerine and orange shades will be very IN this season and whether it`s a belt, dress or pumps you will certainly be keeping up with the latest trends. Here`s what Glamour advised on wearing orange shades:
`The key is to find the one shade that really flatters you. Like yellow, (also a hot colour right now!), orange looks best on warm skin tones with peach or pink undertones. If you`ve got olive skin, like me, you should find a hue that`s either muted, like a rusty orange, or has some pink in it like salmon or coral. If you`ve got a very cool complexion that rejects orange`s appeal (hee! sorry), you`ll want to avoid wearing it close to your face and choose accessories like a belt or a pair of shoes instead and if you`ve got the right skin tone but you`re still a little afraid, start by wearing a print that has some orange in it or a tangerine-coloured camisole under a fitted khaki blazer. If all other attempts fail, take it to the beach. A pair of bright flip flops, a straw tote, or a bikini top can`t possibly look out of place there.
One word of warning: if you`re going to do the dress thing, accessorizing can be tricky. It`s best if you go for gold.`
