Firstly, I`m saddened that Fashion Bug stores across the US are closing their doors. Their website has been shut down and stores will remain open until December and be gone for good. Fashion Bug has been a store I loved because the clothes were pretty stand-up quality and you could get items at a fabulous price along with coupons, etc. I did pay $4.61 for this shirt though -- and that`s not just because of the clearance sale going on. When I found out the stores were closing, I phoned customer service and inquired about the credit card fee I paid (I`m a VIP card holder) meaning I pay $39/yr for the card, but I get freebies each year and for every dollar value spent, I get $10 reward certificates printed out for me. ANYWAY! I paid my fee and when I found they were closing I phoned customer service to inquire about if I could get the fee reimbursed to me. What they did was prorate the charge and gave me nearly $20 back. I was told I could either spend it in store by charging something or waiting for the bill then requesting a check. I figured I`d just go in and get something -- so get something I did. I have this same shirt in grey (the lace detailing in back is different). It`s the most comfortable shirt and I get SO many compliments when I wear the grey so I picked it up in this burgundy purple shade. After charging it to my card, the credit was applied so I paid $4.61 for this! Not bad. BTW if you have a Fashion Bug locally, I wouldn`t suggest running in right now -- prices are rather jacked up for items with only 20% being taken off. So I`m waiting until the end of November/first week of December before I take a sweep through and get some items before they`re gone for good (SAD FACE!)
Have you ever shopped at Fashion Bug?
