There has been this trend going on facebook that doesn`t involve connecting with friends. Instead of using it as a social media for friends, young people are creating accounts as a personal "store" or boutique to sell their unwanted items. Its like a virtual garage sell. Instead of having to open a ebay account to sell their used clothes or accessories, they can now post up pictures of their unwanted items and see who would buy it. How it works is that the fb "store" you open has to have some sort of catchy name followed by the word "btq" (stands for boutique) or "seller" (which means you are selling things). You would then add other stores that also have the ending btq or seller, so they can look at your items. If someone is interested, they can either pay you by paypal or cash in the mail. (of course items below $20 usually get sent though the mail) Not only can you add other btq`s or sellers, but you should also add girls that you think are interested in these stores.
Anyways I find this a really good opportunity to recycle the clothes you don`t want anymore at the same time putting a little money in your pockets. Its like a way of virtually selling your clothes to a thrift store. Remember that your trash might be someone else`s treasure :)
So below is a link to my BTQ that I opened a few nights ago. This is actually my 2nd "store" since my first one got deleted somehow by facebook a year ago. Please check it out <3
