Google created Google + to rival social networks Facebook, but Facebook will respond in the same currency, creating a search engine.
The announcement is made by Business Week, citing two sources of the project, indicating that a former engineer at Google is leading this project.
The aim of this new search engine is a search for Facebook, which facilitates the search for updates, pictures or videos posted on Facebook.
Since the research is the increased use of the internet, with this new feature on Facebook, users would no longer leave the site and go to Google when they could do the same search in Facebook itself. In this new functionality for users to Facebook may be another area to explore advertising.
Does Facebook can replace Google as a search engine?
