Extremely Yummy n Healthy Chinese Soup + Recipe

When I returned home, my mummy has already cooked this soup and ready for me to enjoy!!! I love u so much, mum<3
This is carrot and Sweet Corn Soup with Cashew nuts and Pork Shank.
OMG!! It is EXTREMELY yummy n also healthy.

This soup is ideal excellent in dispelling excess body moisture with nourishing and cooling properties. It is helpful in eliminating heatiness, dissolving phlegm and stimulating saliva secretion.
It is a naturally sweet soup which tastes really fabulous.
So, let me show u the ingredients of this soup!
1 pound of fresh pork shank (lean one is better)
3 large carrots
4-5 large dried dates
8 water chestnuts (add more if u want the soup taste "sweeter")
2 fresh corn
80g of raw and ripe barley
2 litres of water
1 teaspoon of salt
--> Boil on high heat for 30 minutes and reduce to simmer for another 3 hours!!!

This is really delicious!!!!!!! once you start drinking, you will want more and more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
