There is no doubt that exercise is a good way to keep your body healthy and even keep your mental health good because exercise can help dealing with stress.
But in case you need some extra motivation or want to know a curious fun fact about exercise is that besides changing your body and improve you health, it will change your DNA!
A study made show that healthy people that started exercising noticed changes right way. After just a few time exercise, it was noticed in the subjects that their genetic material in their muscle cells changed right away and made changes in areas that are related to your own metabolism.
There are a lot of scientific terms in the study/article that i don`t even understand to explain to you but the main point and that is clear with the study is that exercise will improve your health and your genetics and basically by working out you really improve your metabolism and make your cells create more fat burning proteins.
A Dr. that commented on this has said something that most of us have probably learned in school or books, that even though a big part of our genes are transmitted by our parents, there is a part that can be changed and that it is by diet, environment and now it was proven that it can be changed with exercise, so you can pass on even better genes =D
So, even though genes have a big role in how you turn out and especially in terms of health/weight, they can be changed.
I think this is a pretty nice study that always gives more credit and benefits to exercise.
What do you think? Did you know that exercise had such a big impact?
Do you exercise regularly?
