There`s Times Square in New York, but I`ve never been to Tiananmen Square which is located in Bei Jing, China. Of course we`ve seen or read about the famous protest that happened before at Tiananmen Square before with the guy facing off against a column of Tanks. What is there actually to see and do there?
As a large city square it`s a popular tourist site with nearby their great leader Mao entombed there. Creepy yes, I know. Millions of visitor go to see the body and pay respect to their Communist founder. Nearby are also the imperial palaces which I believe you can also visit.
I`ve never been but think it would be interesting to visit. Have you visited before?
