/viz/weekend-pack-giveaway Here is another wonderful makeup piece for my collection again by korean brand etude house :) First thing is first. Isn`t it just the cutest!!?? ^o^ This is a baked eyeshadow duo which i bought in shade 01. Banana chocolate. As you can see the name reflects the colour combination of neutral brown/yellow ivory combo. These eyeshadows are quite inexpensive and are available around the US$7 mark I guess depending where you buy from. I LOVE the packaging, a tin in the shape of a cupcake <3 As for the actual product, my thoughts... hmm... I don`t usually gravitate towards baked eyeshadows because they are usually hard [well theyre baked duh! silly me] which means makeup brushes don`t really work very well in picking up the product and application. I find sponge tip applicators or in my case fingers are usually the better option. This eyeshadow didn`t come with any applicator tool so thats also something to keep in mind. As for colour pay off, if applied dry you get a more sheer subtle kind of colour. Both of these shades are shimmery as are most eyeshadows from asian makeup brands are. There is a decent amount of glitter in both of these eyeshadows but I`m kind of under the impression when worn in the lid they won`t really stay put throughout the day.... Even when applied wet, the yellow-beige colour i dont thinkmade a huge difference unlike the brown as you can see above. I think with these eyeshadow if you want a much stronger look definately use a base or primer of some kind unless you like just a sheer wash of sparkle. Either way I think packaging aside, they are nice colours. They aren`t bad but neither are they amazing. I believe there are 5 duo`s in total to choose from, theres a pink duo, purple duo, blue and a grey duo :) Each with their own cute name ^^ Definately check them out if you have time. ***First photo my own and taken by me**** ***I do not own second photo please see source link below*** makeup
