As I mentioned in my review, I recently ran out of my Estee Lauder Double wear foundation. Now I know there have been mentions of how the new formulation is not as good, but so far my experience has been fine. I actually bought the colour Sand, which is a few shades too light for me. I did this because I love to mix my foundations, and I always love having Estee Lauder in my T zone. This foundation mixes with other shades, which are closer to my skintone, and lightens them so that once everything oxidizes it`s ACTUALLY my skin colour.
Oh the issues of having oily skin in my T zone and dry skin on my cheeks, lol. This foundation is too dry for my dry areas, but fixes the colour, and keeps me matte, where I need it. I`ve also poured this into my old Estee lauder foundation (not all but a good amount) to just lighten that one up so that it`s actually my skintone. That`s worked out great for me because I can keep the rest of this bottle for mixing with other foundations, and use that on its own during the summer when I`m going to need a mattifying, long-wearing foundation.
Oh and I got a bunch of goodies because it was gift with purchase season! I always wait to buy my Lancome, Clinique, and Estee Lauder stuff so that I can get free goodies!
