(ALL PHOTOS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW!) Ole Caliente... this is a color that a couple of years ago I`d probably have steered clear of. Over time I find I am more willing to wear the colors I avoided previously. I don`t know what it is, but my interests are much more expanded as far as color selection of polishes. Ole Caliente is described as a red-orange with pink undertone by Essie. I`d say it is a hybrid between tomato and coral. This feels more like a summer color than a spring color to me. I say that, because this was released in their spring collection. I won`t complain, though, because it is still a bright, sunny, pretty shade and I`m just crazy always thinking pastel = spring. The consistency on this one was amazing. I`d have to say it has been the most impressive in that field so far (of the ones I have worn). It didn`t pull away, creating bald patches or streak marks and it didn`t fight me during application. Would you believe I am wearing one coat in these photos? Well, I am! You could layer another coat for more opacity, but I was happy with just the one. The only person who is going to see slight VNL is you when you stick your nails 2 inches from your nose. Otherwise, it looks opaque. You can tell this one I highly suggest. That is, if it falls into your range of favored colors. I`m diggin` it!
